The newest addition to our product range is ReCirX², named because it celebrates circularity. The coating is made from water-based virgin Polyethylene Terephthalate. It is recyclable and free of PFAS, DMF and VOCs. It’s made to be remade. ReCirX² is the first waterborne PET coating meeting important performance characteristics in abrasion resistance and tear strength.
Science and process drive the breakthroughs that created ReCirX². Our patented application makes the coating integral to the fibers of the textile, therefore dramatically increasing its ability to withstand abrasion. Our materials scientists worked hard to create a PET coating with a soft enough ‘hand’ for backpack applications.
